We did the tourist thing and went for a ride on an elephant in the jungle. But we must have smelt pretty bad as he went for a bath straight after.

I bet you had the ride of your life, Nigel! I once rode a camel and laughed hysterically the entire time because the gait was different from anything I had ever experienced. I wonder what an elephant's would feel like?!

It had to get rid of the smell of farang. That bottom picture is a great one, sort of like those 'bathing nude in the nymph forest' type of picture.
Nigel Clack: I'm quite pleased with it too.
I am so envious, I love elephants so I would have done the tourist thing if it meant being close to them like this. I love the bathing beauty smile

These are some great shots Nigel.....i like the small bridge with the a rope strung across as a railing.....i think that the elephant deserved the bath...it looked like he enjoyed it.....petersmile
