photoblog image Whiteout

Whiteout

I know some highlights are blown, but I wanted a highkey kind of image.  It's not the same place as the previous tunnel.

Oh Yeah! was the first thing I said, when I opened the image. All works wonderfully here, nothing is blown. A very enjoyable photograph indeed.
Well done. Makes me think of Narnia when under the spell of the white witch.
It is a very effect shot.
A dream-like shot Nig. I really like it!

Ohhhh, I like what Red Pen said about Narnia. YES. This is magical Narnia as winter starts to melt.
Has a bit of the infra red about it. I was playing about with one of my pictures like this and made a right bog of it. It's in my unassigned bin and I will only dig it out if all else fails! This, on the other hand, is excellent.

Magical stuff! Don't worry about 'Blown highlights': camera-club tech-blather! It adds a balance to this shot, Nig.
