The play of words maybe fun, but this image goes way beyond it, Nig. Great stuff.
Wonder, if the red tones will be more appropriate here. Have you tried?
Nigel Clack: Thanks VZ, I hadn't tried as the little play on words wouldn't have quite workedwink But just for you I gave it a go http://nigelclack.shutterchance.com/photoblog/156695.htm

I think I may have lost something in the translation, Nig, but I trust you nonetheless. I LOVE a good play on words (even if I don't get it). smile But I can surely say you have caught many a BLUE REED. Well done.
Nigel Clack: Thanks Ginnie, Lou Reed is who I was referring to, I admit it was a very poorsad

The bloody red looks good, but a bit over the board. I was thinking about a softer hue of red. You might've called it "Simply REeD" Hahaha.

Lovely shot though I think the blur is a bit overdone. Composition and colors are brilliant!
Nigel Clack: I think you are probably right, at least that's something I can tweak anytimewink
Love the colors and DOF.
Great movement & that light is superb, Nigel
