Yep! Even better than the previous excellent splashy effort. This guy is moving quite nicely despite the cold and the water, and Nig has to pan very quickly to grab the action.
This is a great shot, Nig.
Nigel Clack: Thanks, I wanted to be a bit more creative rather than just freezing the actions. I think I zoomed a tadge as well as pan.
Certainly conveys both the x country terrain and the speed. Excellent composition and technique.

Super motion effect here. Great job Nig!
Nigel Clack: Cheers Richard
Nigel, this is some great action picture, the composition is great and I sure love the technique you use...
Nigel Clack: Thanks Astrid, I think I zoomed and panned on this one.
every now and then (actually quite often I have to admit) you come across a photograph, where you understand you have been in a smilar situation, with a similar scene happening in front of you, with your camera in hand, you just did not take THAT picture. Either because you did not think of it, where not capable of pulling it or whatever reason. I am having such a moment.
LIKEY
Nigel Clack: Thanks for your kind words Patrick, I have to admit that I am pleased with these as I have obtained pretty much what I had envisioned.
Hellish movement in this Nigel. Another goodun. richard
Nigel Clack: Thanks again Richard

Nigel Clack: Hi there cha cha, thanks for popping by
yes it does convey speed and it's also well composed

I like this one even better than yesterdays...as you say you really get the impression of speed and the water and mud
Nigel Clack: Thats good then, Cheers Bill
Now that is MY kind of sport, Nigel! Cross country running was always my love...and the splish-splashing is all part of it. Love it!
Nigel Clack: Nothing like a bit of a roll in the mud
it certainly does give an impression o speed, well done Nigel, its a good un !
Nigel Clack: Glad u like, cheers Ric
very cool. mal
Nigel Clack: Thanks a lot mal
speed...yes indeed! very nice. Its quite strange as it almost looks like you managed to pan a head-on shot?
Nigel Clack: I agree, I think I zoomed a little at the same time.
