photoblog image Blues and Whites

Blues and Whites

The new Gloucester college at Gloucester Docks.

I like the way the clouds and sky almost match the blues and whites of the building. It was a bit frustrating that I couldn't get square on to the building but it was cordoned off.

Striking image! The warm tones of the reflection balance it very nicely.
Nigel Clack: I must admit I didnt think of the reflection in that way, cheers Martin.

how did you manage to get the sky to pose so perfectly for you? Cracking shot!
Nigel Clack: I could tell you but then I would have to....grin
Quite unreal, striking picture. I think the slight angle to the shot works well, better than straight on. It plays off the angles in the sky nicely.
Nigel Clack: Thanks, I did think of trying a more extreme angle, but didnt get round to it.
Impressive perspective here, I like it !!
Nigel Clack: Cheers Zeb.
what a stunning perspective! well done sky!
Nigel Clack: Yep thats what I thought, thanks skysmile

The blues and whites are so appealing, and I'm crazy about those clouds.
