I think this was a racing plane, like those in the Red Bull races.

Ray is right: where are YOU, Nigel?! smile The longer I look at the nose, the more I see a budding flower. Very nice, especially with the red.
Nigel Clack: Just at the tip, but very tinywink

This thing looks as if it was born to do high speed acrobatics Nig
Nigel Clack: I believe you are right.
It looks a mean machine.
Nigel Clack: I agree
Great image! I love the reflection. It looks like a race track at the bottom. (:o)

Nice capture Nig,a bit faster than a Fairey Swordfish or a Bristol Bulldog !!! Shame to see that our Tornado squads could be grounded in the next round of defence cuts.Britain soon will be as well equipped and ready as it was pre 1939.
Nigel Clack: Probaby just slightly faster, maybe we can use it in place of the Tornados??
Somebody is very proudly polishing this nose I can see!! Beautiful photo! Love the colours!!

Cool and yes.... where are you Nig?
Nice one, Nigel - could also be an aerobatics plane I suppose.
Nigel Clack: Yep could be, didn't see it fly and no info around the plane.
