Cockpit

I went to Fairford air show at the weekend, I tried to get a couple of abstracts amongst the usual suspects. This was the cockpit of an F16 I think.

Fascinating, Nigel.

No windscreen wipers...how does the driver remove the squished dragonflies, I wonder...

It took me a few moments to work out the angle. Ray's wipers would be on the other side if I am right.

The halo around the canopy would suggest that this is inhabited by an extraterrestrial being?

You have created a surreal image alright smile
Nigel Clack: Cheers Louis, it is actually the front of the plane.

Well I'm glad you've told us what it is Nig. It's one of the oddest & most original pictures I've seen on S/C
Nigel Clack: Cheers Chris, that's very kind of you.
Looks like the Robot in lost in space
Nigel Clack: Waaayyy before my timegrin Other than the movie of course...
Wow that is stunning and like some 1950s UFO. I hope the show was good. Last year I went and got soaked in the heavy showers.
Nigel Clack: It was good thanks, a tadge windy but sunny as well.

My first thought was a policeman's light on top of his patrol car! smile But now I see the cockpit...sans pilot, I assume?!
Nigel Clack: Correct.
Lovely abstract! Very imaginative!

It could be anything to be honest, if you would have told me it was the crown of the Queen of takatukaland I would have believed you too.
Nigel Clack: Thats tomorrowwink
Hardly room for the helmet! Interesting and truly weird shot, Nigel.

I was wondering whether I accidentally stumbled onto the old set of Star Trek?! Beam me up Scotty!
Also very special.

Airshow? Perhaps of alien planes and UFOs :-D
Looks like something out of 'Mars Attacks!'
