Very nice Nig: a bit of twiddling always helps

Both divine but prefer the unsaturated one
each has it's own, this one can be processed in a myriad of ways....

a good base shot always helps..

First from the left for me - not too saturated and yet a hint of mystery.
Just wonderful Nig. Very nicely done!

Yes gorgeous is the word
They are both gorgeous, but my eye keeps being drawn to the left. Lovelysmile
Sorry but I can't decide which one. I take them both as they are ...great! smile
You have lovely children and I'm sure they are well behaved not keeping you up all night worrying about what they are up to.
Nigel Clack: Absolutely rightsmile

Oh, I can see the difference. For some reason the fractalius thing doesn't excite me, although I understand that others like it. Maybe more for clearcut tone mapping myself.
Nigel Clack: I have to admit I think I prefer the original in this case, especially as it was only a quick snap in the dining room.
Fantastica Nigel, las dos me gustan mucho la de la izquierda por su suavidad y la de la derecha por su fuerza.

I like the right
I think I prefer the processed one (just) but it's a great idea displaying them side by side as a diptych - looks very graphic, and stunning
Very cool shot Nigel. Quite interesting. This is one you could do a hundred variations of in terms of tinting etc and they would all work. Excellent
