Why does this look familiar to me, Nigel. I haven't seen it with my own eyes but I think I have seen this on SC before a long time ago...but where? I love your POV.
Nigel Clack: I had a search around SC and couldn't find anything.

Nigel - this is really effective. I love just how CLOSE this makes me feel to the scene. And it's so lush and green too.

Always wanted to go to Madeira, it certainly looks like a nice place.
Nigel Clack: It is quite interesting, a week is probably enough.

Lovely POV Nigel> love the greenery smile
Great perspective NC, love the green theme everywhere in the photo, Cheers, HC
Excellent POV..I do like this. Unusual to see a stream on the hillside like this. Good one Nigel.
This is very very fine composition. Just the DOF is too limited for me here.
oh this has great depth to it. love the green and that water reflection. great use of lighting. the shadows really add some drama. as always. i really like the shapes of the trees to the right. it seems like this photo just keeps going and going.

p.s
thanks for the reply and the bookmarking. i'm only pointing out the obvious of good shootings. wink
