Wow is the first word that comes to mind. I'm a bit confused. Is this Madeira or did the wind from Madeira blow the clouds in?
Nigel Clack: This is Madeira and the Trade Winds blow the clouds over the mountains, cheers Mary.
stunning sight Nigel and i like this better with the sky cropped out, hoping for this sight in Scotland this weekendsmile
Nigel Clack: I hadnt thought of cropping out the sky, but it does work, cheers.

This feels like an optical illusion, Nigel. You have to make sure your eyes aren't playing tricks on you. What a magnificent view.

Me gusta mucho como esa niebla se va apoderando de todo a su paso.
Saludos.
Wow, like a waterfall of clouds.
Nigel Clack: Good description

what a view!!

Fantastic colors here Nigel. Might also be interesting to try cropping it to a square using the right side of the image with no blue sky. Looks like it must have been some effort to get up here and obviously well worth it!
Nigel Clack: I think the square would work, I will give it a go. We cheated and took a bus up there!!
